Aglaia Perraki- Xenaki was born in Chania Crete in 1966. From her early childhood she was in search of ways to express herself and hence she became interested in painting jewellery making and dance. She has studied Byzantine and Art and extensively researched the “ Fayum “ portraits, which became a point reference for her artistic creations. In 1988 she entered the Fine Arts school of the Polytechnic University of Crete. She currently lives and works in Chania, Crete.
